my Specialized Bike frame broke

So, you know I like to ride my bike when it's warm and dry and almost every day the past month, it's been just that... so the bike I bought used just a couple years ago has been ridden almost every day to work, etc... and on Thursday I rode to Staples to buy some Discovery office supplies and on the way back to the office, the bike frame broke;-| But really, besides being bummed that the warranty didn't apply to me, I was VERY thankful to not have been in any accident due to the equipment failure...
