Audio Bible Impact

Since the launch of audio Luke, the Mindat people have been enjoying listening to AudiBibles at home and farms. There have been many stories like this: Mr. Agonjong a community leader said "This is really a great work, as I sit to listen sometimes, I am carried away by the naturalness of the flow of the language and I could say indeed the lord is faithful to the Mindat people to have this message on the devices. I now use this for Bible Studies in my church and at home for morning devotions, in fact I can't wait to hold the written Mindat Bible in my hands in the future if God permits.

Mr Jerom a community stakeholder of Mindat said "ever since the launch of Luke I have interacted so much with the AudiBible and I can say for sure now I understand the word better than in times past when we had pastors that preached to us in Hausa language which I could hardly follow the message. This was the same with other aged people like me, but with this audio translation, God is already showing us mercy to better understand the Scripture. My biggest joy is that our youth will benefit from this massive translation project that is bringing revival to us already".

Mr Basil the project committee chairman thanked everybody who is directly and indirectly connected to the project; Indeed, this is something that generations will benefit from and the love of God will continue to grow stronger amongst the Mindat people, he said I don't just see this as Bible translation but another great tool of revival sweeping across the Mindat hamlets and prayed for more collaborative efforts to grow this project.

With the introduction of Scripture engagement and listening centres across the Mindat and Duhwa hamlets there has been a spontaneous growth in the use of the AudiBibles. Community members meet at various intervals to interact together and share the words amongst themselves and encourage each other. This has really helped the communities to better understand God.

Mr Benjamin from Mindat said "through group listening we are now getting familiar with many biblical key terms that some of us never knew before and not only has it increased our vocabulary but also it has increased our knowledge in the word of God.

Interestingly from the various listening centers there is now a growing concern for proper language documentations since our communities selected some youth to document very important terms in the mother tongue for record keeping and for future reference. One challenge in the project now, there is high demand for AudiBibles even though for some few who have access to mobile phone with SD cards, they are able to enjoy the Book of Luke, yet for the remaining population they keep asking for more devices.

Also, people are constantly faced with insecurity as the bandit/terrorist attacks keep on rampaging communities.

Pray for the various listening centers across the area as they engage with the word that it will bring revival into their lives and the communities at large

The Book of Mark is being distributed to the communities, pray for grace to continue the good work just as it was with the books of Luke and John.
