I recently received this photo in an e-mail from Nancy Schafer, a colleague and long time friend of ours in Ghana:
John gave the vote of thanks--very nicely done, too--at our final Farefare dedication which was more of a thanksgiving service. We didn't all make it since one of our grandchildren was not well this morning, so Bob stayed back with them. But it was a nice service, made all the nicer by the presence of John and his discovery people.
This was really a wonderful thing for John, as when we first arrived in Ghana we did our village living with the Schafer family among the Farefare people.
