Traveling in Ghana

Although it has been a week since I last heard from John, we can safely assume that all the Discoverers have been back in Tamale for several days now, and are beginning the debrief process together. Tomorrow the Ghana team is scheduled to travel to Mole Game reserve, where they will spend two days debriefing and seeing the animals; they will then spend a couple more days traveling back to Accra, the capital city,(the photos here are typical of some of the sights they will see outside of their windows as they travel.) Through out their travel time, the team will continue to process their experiences and seek to hear what God is saying to each of them. Please be praying for them...and the other teams this year as well, as 85% of what participants learn from their summer will happen at debrief. Please pray also for the leaders; this is both the most rewarding time for them and the hardest. In addition to group debrief sessions, John, Claudia and Patricia will meet with each of the 13 participants for an individual session of at least an hour, that takes the leaders up to another hour to prepare for.....they also deal with all the travel issues (food, accommodation, vehicle issues.) It is exhausting...and also exhilarating as they see the fruit from all the planting and tending of their Discovery field.
On behalf of John and all the other team leaders and participants, we can't thank you enough for your prayer support during these last crucial days of the discovery trips!
