African Arrival

We arrived on schedule in Accra on Friday night and by Saturday all our luggage was with us.

In the past 2 days we’ve been able to re-connect with some of our Ghanaian extended family, eat at John’s favourite chop bar and get some much needed rest on Sunday… and make lots of final arrangements…

Our assistant team leader; Maame Esi is now with us and is currently preparing to lead the Ghanaian pre-orientation from Monday evening through Tuesday…

Our Ghanaian Discovery participants have begun to arrive, 2 have canceled and we have invited a couple to replace them on late notice… Please pray that the right people would be “on the bus” when  Discovery Ghana 2009 reaches full speed later this week.

As I write this, most of our participants are still traveling… and will arrive in Accra between now and Tuesday night 10:30 PM local time.
