Winding up Discovery 2009
Another Ghana Discovery trip is drawing to a close; Saturday we said
good-bye to all of our participants as John made four different trips to
the airport to send them off. Sunday we had an alumni get together with
some of our former Ghanaian participants...and John, Maame Esi and I
spent today debriefing our debrief 8-) as well as discussing other ideas
to help improve future Discovery trips here in Ghana. We are all pretty
much brain dead; John and I are very much looking forward to some time
of R&R beginning tomorrow, while Maame Esi is looking forward to heading
home and seeing her family again. Shevawn will leave Ghana on August
11th, while John remains behind for two more weeks of being a cross
cultural liaison with the elders of The Well (the house church
organization we were a part of this last year).

Thanks so much for your prayers; we are weary from our work, but glad
that this is what we get to do. Please pray especially for John, that
he will be able to get adequately recharged before he begins traveling
around Ghana again.
In His love;
Shevawn Ramsey
