Ramsey Prayer update

The fall is normally the slowest part of our yearly work cycle...so between that and our decision to not travel to visit some of our ministry partners this fall as we usually do, I had this idea that it would somehow be a magical time in which to catch up on much of our backlog, both at work and at home.  Well, we're more than halfway through fall....and as you can imagine, things have not turned out quite as I had envisioned.  But God is good....and we are so thankful for His help and strength and peace in the midst of....life!  Here's just a few of the things we are praising the Lord for:

* Several Discovery alumni who have begun the process of joining Wycliffe Bible Translators in the past few months.
* Wonderful phone conversations with some of our participants from this year's trips as we continue to be involved in each other's lives.
* 2010 Discovery trips have been confirmed and are now posted on the Discovery web page http://www.wycliffe.org/Discovery
* For the wonderful team of prayer and financial supporters that God has provided us with.  Although we have lost a few supporters during the last year, we are continually blessed and thankful for so many who faithfully continue to support us month after month.
* On a personal note, we are very thankful for God's help and provision as we have dealt with a flooded kitchen/laundry room due to our upstairs neighbor's washing machine.  Although the repair work was ongoing for several weeks, God enabled us to choose joy throughout.  We are also very thankful that our neighbor's insurance covered the repairs.....and that we are getting to know each other better because of this.
We are also thankful for some wonderfully refreshing vacation time spent with friends over the past month.

Current prayer requests:
* For wisdom and focus as we continue to try to catch up on some things that have been put off and need to be done.
* That God will guide us....and the team leaders involved....as we figure out what team leader training should look like this year.
* Wisdom as we begin interviewing applicants in November.

In His service;
 Shevawn
