Statistics

Sometimes we give the mistaken impression that we only send Discovery teams to Ghana.  But we do have other trips, which get advertised here:  In fact, here's a picture of a Discovery team headed to the South Pacific Islands.

• Currently we have 36 Discoverers who will serve in more than 7 countries this year (we're looking for this number to go up a bit before the end of the year).     
• Last week at Wycliffe USA headquarters there was a new missionary orientation, in which 7 Discovery alumni took part.  These former Discoverers who are now Wycliffe missionaries, took their trips over quite a span of years... one was back in 1996 and another was as recent as 2011.  
• I don't have an exact number for this one, but have heard of 3 or 4 (maybe more) Discovery alumni who will attend various linguistics schools this summer in their continuing journey in becoming Bible translators.
