As another Discovery trip draws to a close....

As I write this blog post, 4 of the South Asia Discovery participants are on their way home and the remaining 3 will depart within hours.  John, Elizabeth and Jason will remain for two more days; first they will get some sleep…and then they will have a leaders debrief.   Your prayers are very much appreciated as John & Elizabeth seek insight on their teams trip experience that will help them plan future trips and guide them in their future interactions with their trip participants.

Here's an excerpt from something Mel wrote recently about the second half of her trip experience:

(Since) we arrived in (D) city…. we have been helping prepare training materials for translators.  Many translators do not speak or read English, which can make it difficult for them to use the translation resources to help make the process a little easier.  There is a new project to help these translators learn English so that they are better equipped for the translation process.  This is a project that the translators themselves have been asking for, and the Lord has provided.  As a team combined we have done 129.5 hours of prep work for this training.
Now we are heading home, and it seem like yesterday we arrived.  I will be sad to leave, but excited to see the next plans the Lord has put out for me.

Please do join us in prayer for both the South Asia and Papua New Guinea Team participants as they return home this week, experiencing re-entry and continuing to seek the Lord's leading for what’s next for them.
