Kids Books in African languages

Remember our blog post a few weeks ago about the Mozambique Discovery trip?  Well... just before that trip, I met David Ker online through his very creative Lingamish blog.  David was the Discovery trip leader... and now he is the founding director of Red* Zebra Books (*name change pending).

We love what his organization is doing in partnership with Wycliffe and others.... and that is helping provide quality reading materials in and across Africa.

Red Zebra Books publishes and distributes books for children in African languages. On this site you can find free books to download and reuse. You can translate these books into another language or sponsor the publication of a brand new book.
