As a boss once reminded me: "every job has its benefits"
One week of strategy planning meetings may not be everyone's idea of a job benefit... but when those meetings require traveling 9,300 miles over 11 time zones, the benefits are real... just as are the body pains after 19 hours in an airline seat.
