Would you answer your phone?

 

I was in a meeting in Nigeria talking with an organization about starting Bible translation projects when someone's phone rang. I then overheard a conversation between someone in a language community that called to ask for help to start translating their Bible. The voice on the phone loudly exclaimed "THANK-YOU JESUS" when he heard the news that his call came during a meeting in which we were talking about his language community! 

A project proposal is now in the final stages of development in order to come help his language community translate their own Bible. This particular project will be working in oral and written Bible translation approaches in forty-nine Nigerian languages. Please pray for many like this man who are eager to read God's word in their own language.
