Worth the Long Trip

We are incredibly thankful that this spring we were able to go visit our son and his family.

Soon after we arrived, the five of us took a trip to Jeju island, which is sometimes described as the Hawaii of South Korea. Besides enjoying the beach and trails nearby, we visited multiple venues geared for families.

Our granddaughter periodically models children's clothing, and while we were at Jeju we got to see what a photo-shoot is like for her and her mother.

Before we left the island, we had another first time experience when our restaurant meal was delivered by a robot.

We had a lot of fun and made memories while we were at their home in Korea as well. Since the 3 year old likes to "go-and-do" we went on a number of local adventures; the rail bike was one of our personal favorites.

The best part of being there though was having everyday life together. Playing with our granddaughter brought much joy to these grandparents' hearts.

So fun! We Bards wanted to see Jeju while we were there, but couldn’t squeeze it into our schedule. Cute granddaughter!
