Kontagora Update

 I visited the Anglican Bishop of Kontagora recently to congratulate him on being elected to serve on the SIL Nigeria Board of Directors. 

The Bishop is a real advocate for Bible translation and the use of mother tongue languages, so serving on this board is a great fit. During Sunday church service he announced the appointment to his congregation saying he would now be out of town sometimes to serve the Bible translation movement. 

Bishop Jonah, thank you for serving the bibleless!    

 I first met the bishop and became friends in 2019 and this second visit was a real joy. The above photo shows Bishop Jonah with his wife and me.
