Sometimes you just have to let go!
Take last Monday night for example.
Shevawn was working in our home office just before dinner when she heard an odd
noise seemingly coming from inside one of our walls… which was soon followed by
water dripping out of the electric outlet… and then water coming out
of vents in the bathroom ceiling. Turns out the drain pipe for our
upstairs neighbor’s bath had come apart inside the ceiling; here’s what it looked like a couple of
hours later while the plumbers were repairing the pipes. Now that fans and dehumidifiers have been running for almost a week to dry everything out, we're hopeful the reconstruction work will begin tomorrow.
We are thankful for so many things:
...that we were home when the leak happened so that the damage was minimized.
...that the home owners association is taking responsibility for the repair bills.
...that we got to bond with our "new" upstairs neighbor during the crisis.
...that we have so many friends -like you- praying with us!
How can we be praying with you?
