Where can I buy a Gwich'in Bible?

I remember way back in the before-internet-days, people would phone the Wycliffe-USA headquarters office and ask where they could buy a Bible in a certain language… sometimes they were asking for a "big" language like German or Portuguese… and sometimes they wanted a Bible in a "smaller" language like Havasupai or whatever. I knew of a couple companies who sold non-English Bibles which I would refer people to. But I also explained that most of the Bibles and New Testaments that were translated around the world would be sold only in those locations where the language speakers live. Well… fast forward to 2022, I think Bible apps are the easiest way to read or listen to the Bible in any language, but there are days when a print Bible may be what you want… and that's where Print-on-demand and the magic of partnerships and the digital Bible library shine.

There are probably many ways to find a Bible in any available language. I will share just two:
Scripture Earth does a good job of helping people find what they're looking for. Just type in what you know about the language name or country it’s spoken in… or look at the languages listed by country. Let's say you want to know what languages are spoken in Ukraine, just look it up and once you see one listed that you are interested in like "Ukrainian" and from there you are able to view Scripture in many formats. Ukrainian Scripture is available in film, audio, apps, books, etc.

Print-on-Demand Bibles are also a thing on Amazon (Please ask your local bookstore too). This continues to amaze me that I can purchase a Gwich'in New Testament for only $6.29 Incredible that such a an important Book is available for a language with less than 1000 speakers worldwide. And if you need Gwich'in Scriptures in other formats, that information is on Scripture Earth!

Well… spoiler alert: the world continues to change.
In 2010 we blogged about Bibles being published in various media formats; Print, internet and mobile phones

In 2013 we blogged about the YouVersion Bible app. When did you start using a Bible app? Then in 2014 we announced that YouVersion had 1,000 languages of Bibles on their app. By 2019 the number of languages had increased to "almost 1,400" and (last statistic, I promise) 1760+ languages are on the YouVersion app as of 2021.

And in 2018 we blogged about this very thing again when minority language Bibles available on Amazon

Do you read a print Bible, watch Scripture on video, listen to audio or read the Bible on a phone, tablet of computer?
