June 16th update

Hello everybody!

Shevawn here!  I called John yesterday and spoke to him briefly; he sounded really great and said all is going really well with the team!  He reported that they were pretty much on schedule with the curriculum....and they even got to all go to the new football (soccer to most Americans) stadium in Tamale to watch a match!  He raved about how great  his fellow team leaders are; he is quite excited about how their different strengths and gifts work so wonderfully together.
As for prayer requests, the major one is that GILLBT is deciding whether to change one of the participants language project assignments because there has been intermittent conflict in the area.  Also, it is possible one more Ghanaian guy may still join the team....which can bring some problems as well as benefits this late in the game.  Also, one our our suitcases that we store in Tamale has not turned up....and it happens to be the one with our mosquito net in it!
Soooo....that's all for now!  Hopefully he will be able to give us another update not to long after he sends the participants out to their various assignments on Friday.  Thanks so much for your prayers for him and the whole Discovery team!
